Brighton are eyeing a renewed move for former Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell, who is now valued at more than \u20ac23m by Toulouse. The Seagulls had a \u20ac23m offer turned down in January.<\/p>\n

According to Fabrizio Romano, Brighton are expected to come back with a fresh bid this summer, and Toulouse have increased their asking price since the winter window.<\/p>\n

Cresswell progressed through Leeds\u2019 academy and into the first team, but opportunities were limited amid competition at centre-back.<\/p>\n

He ended more than a decade at Elland Road by joining Toulouse in July 2024 for a fee thought to be around \u00a33.8m. Now 23, his reputation has grown since moving to France.<\/p>\n

The England under-21s defender remains on Brighton\u2019s radar ahead of the summer window.<\/p>\n

\n

Premier League highflyers Brighton are reportedly eyeing a fresh move for a former Leeds United youngsters whose club now value him at more than \u20ac23m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

England youth international defender Charlie Cresswell came through United\u2019s Academy before progressing to the first time only to find game time somewhat limited amid competition for the centre-back spots.<\/p>\n

\n

Now 23 years old, Creswell\u2019s stock has since risen considerably and Brighton saw a bid of \u20ac23m rejected by Toulouse in the January transfer window.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The Seagulls, though, according to transfer expert journalist Fabrizio Romano, are expected to return with a fresh bid for the England under-21s defender this summer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Romano says Toulouse\u2019s asking price has risen since the winter window.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The YEP understands that a sell-on clause in the agreement that saw Cresswell move from Leeds last summer will give the Whites 15 per cent of any profit made by Toulouse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
