The 19-year-old Croatian defender has emerged as one of Europe’s most coveted young center-backs after a standout loan spell in Germany<\/p>\n

Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly made a \u00a330 million offer to sign Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham Hotspur, a move that would represent a significant premium on what Spurs originally paid for the Croatian teenager.<\/p>\n

Vuskovic, who turned 19 in February, has rapidly become one of the most talked-about young defenders in European football.<\/p>\n

Vuskovic spent the 2025-26 season on loan at Hamburger SV, where he earned a spot in the Bundesliga\u2019s Team of the Season.<\/p>\n

Spurs originally signed Vuskovic from Hajduk Split for approximately \u00a312 million back in 2023, though his official registration with the club didn\u2019t happen until 2025 due to FIFA\u2019s regulations around signing minors. The gap between that initial fee and the reported \u00a330 million bid from Brighton tells you everything about how quickly his stock has risen.<\/p>\n

Tottenham reportedly value the player north of \u20ac50 million. If that internal assessment holds, Brighton\u2019s offer would fall well short of what it would take to pry him away from north London<\/p>\n

This reported bid lands in the middle of an already tangled transfer relationship between the two clubs. Tottenham have been pursuing Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke, with bids reportedly reaching around \u00a370 million, only to be rejected.<\/p>\n\n
