Vincent Kompany Faces Devastating Bayern Munich Blow
Vincent Kompany has been handed a difficult situation at Bayern Munich, with the club facing concerns over the fitness and availability of key players ahead of a demanding October schedule.
Bayern’s official updates confirm that the squad is currently affected by the international break, with several players away on national-team duty. Once they return, Kompany’s side faces seven matches across 22 days, including Bundesliga fixtures against Augsburg, Leipzig, Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund, as well as Champions League meetings with Viking Stavanger and Arsenal.
The situation is particularly significant because Bayern will need to manage their squad carefully during this congested period. Kompany has already experienced setbacks involving injuries, while Jamal Musiala’s health situation earlier this season required particular attention from the club and coaching staff.
Despite the concerns, there has been no confirmed announcement that Kompany himself is leaving Bayern or that his position is under immediate threat. In fact, Bayern extended his contract through June 2029 in October 2025.
For now, the focus remains on preparing the squad for the demanding run of fixtures awaiting Bayern after the international break.
