Bayern Munich remains hopeful of future with Maurice Krattenmacher

 

Bayern Munich remain hopeful that Maurice Krattenmacher could have a future at the club despite his move to SV Elversberg this summer. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder left Bayern permanently in June after several loan spells, but the German champions reportedly retained a buy-back clause, allowing them to continue monitoring his development.

 

Krattenmacher has quickly shown why Bayern were reluctant to completely close the door on his career in Munich. After making an impressive start to the Bundesliga season with Elversberg, he produced a memorable performance against his former club on September 13. The youngster scored a superb equaliser with a curling finish into the top corner, although Bayern eventually won 2-1 through Harry Kane’s late goal.

 

His progress has been built through valuable experience at Ulm and Hertha Berlin, where he gained regular senior football before earning his opportunity in the Bundesliga. Bayern had previously praised his development and potential as an attacking player.
