Later this spring, Foo Fighters will release a brand new album titled Your Favorite Toy. The set, the band’s twelfth, has been preceded by two singles, including “Asking for a Friend,” which dropped last fall, and the title track, which arrived only recently.

Now that its first full seven-day tracking period has passed, “Your Favorite Toy” debuts on multiple Billboard charts and climbs on several rosters where it got off to an early start last period. Foo Fighters nearly score a brand new No. 1 on one particular list, but miss out on running the show by just one spot.

“Your Favorite Toy” launches in the runner-up space on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. The rundown looks specifically at the most-consumed tracks in America classified by Billboard as hard rock when it comes to genre. Like every other roster that begins with the word Hot published by the company, the Hot Hard Rock Songs tally uses sales, streaming and airplay data to rank tunes.

Only “Twisting the Knife” by Ice Nine Kills and McKenna Grace stops Foo Fighters from running the show once more. That tune is featured in the movie Scream 7, which recently opened at No. 1 at the American box office. “Twisting the Knife” starts in first place on the hard rock-only roster.
